How do I remove the residue on my skin left behind from the medical adhesive?
There are many ways to remove leftover adhesive from your skin. You can (carefully) use consumer products such as rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, pharmacy-grade adhesive remover, or petroleum jelly. Be sure to wash with soap and water after using these products.
Similarly, you could also use easy home remedies such as a warm damp towel compressed to skin, taking a warm shower, mild cooking oil, baby oil, or gentle hand lotion. DO NOT scrape away the leftover adhesive, as this will most likely cause skin irritation and is not the most effective means for removal.
Does LidoPro Patch® have any harmful side effects?
No, but it in rare cases or if over-used LidoPro Patch® may cause skin irritation or rash. It is a good idea to remove the patch if it causes noticeable irritation.
Is it necessary to use the external medical adhesive?
No. The medical adhesive is recommended for use in movement areas (knees, elbows, shoulders, ankles) and lower back. The medicated patch will affix to the skin by itself, but certainly does not have the same staying power that the product otherwise would with the adhesive. If your skin is overly sensitive, particularly during removal of patch with external adhesive, it would be prudent to use the patch without the external medical adhesive. Use as directed and preferred.

Younger children have skin that is significantly more sensitive than adults, so LidoPro Patch® should not be used on children under the age of 12. Accordingly, please use caution when removing product, particularly if it were applied with the medical adhesive. Keep LidoPro Patch® away from small children and infants.
